Join farmers, Ann & Mac Stone, for a farm tour showcasing certified organic practices on Elmwood Stock Farm. Attendees will learn more about how crop diversification, rotation, and livestock all play a role in organic farming and ways these techniques build soil health to create nutritious food.

  • Farm tour of the fields, pastures, greenhouses, high tunnels, animals, packing barn, and farm store.

  • Demonstration of soil health and what to look for. 

  • Heirloom tomato tasting at the on-farm kitchen. 

 

This Consumer OAK Field Day is open to the public and anyone interested in learning more about about local and organic food. Registration is $5 per person and children under 18 are free.
